Workforce Web Development Accelerator

 The WWD Accelerator is a 12-week intensive training program designed to equip employees with in-demand web development skills. 


Depending on company size, Workforce Solutions Borderplex is committed to covering up to 90% of tuition cost.

Program details

  • WEBSITES: Build and manage a professional site to showcase your business and attract customers


  • DASHBOARDS: Create interactive reports that track key metrics and guide decisions


  • AUTOMATION: Streamline repetitive tasks to save time and reduce errors


  • AI TOOLS: Integrate AI into daily work to boost efficiency and generate ideas


Participants will gain hands-on experience in full stack web development, learning to build and deploy dynamic web applications using both client-side and server-side technologies. Topics include:


  • HTML & CSS: Structuring and styling responsive, accessible web pages
     
  • JavaScript: Programming fundamentals, DOM manipulation and events
     
  • Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Classes, inheritance, encapsulation, and polymorphism
     
  • Node.js: Setting up servers, handling requests, and building backend logic
     
  • SQL & Database Integration: Writing and optimizing queries (SELECT, JOIN, etc.), data modeling, CRUD operations
     
  • APIs: Fetching and sending data, working with RESTful APIs
     
  • Browser-Based A.I.: Creating lightweight machine learning models using TensorFlow.js
     
  • Version Control: Intro to Git for managing code collaboratively
     
  • Modern JavaScript (ES6+): Promises, async/await, arrow functions, and modular code
     
  • DevOps Concepts: Understanding the software development lifecycle and deployment basics
     
  • Final Project: Build and present a full-stack application integrating front-end and back-end systems


Dates: April 1 – June 20, 2026 

Schedule: Wednesdays, 5:00–8:00 PM and Saturdays, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM


Due to the intensive, cohort-based nature of the program, 100% attendance is required to successfully complete the Accelerator. Participants should plan ahead for all listed dates. 


While every effort is made to keep the schedule as outlined, dates and times are subject to change to support the best possible learning experience.

  • June 17 (Wednesday), 5:00–8:00 PM
  • June 20 (Saturday), 9:00 AM–11 AM – Final session & graduation


Classes will be held in-person at the El Paso Innovation Hub : 500 W. Overland, Suite 210, El Paso, Texas 79901


Depending on company size, Workforce Solutions Borderplex is committed to covering up to 90% of tuition cost. Please contact us for details.


Participating employees will receive a minimum 1% salary increase upon completion, supported by their employer.


Tuition may be covered by employees under certain circumstances. Inquire for details.


  • No prior coding experience is required, just a strong desire to learn
  • This program is tailored to working professionals. Tuition scholarships are only available through an employer. If you are currently unemployed but are still interested in participating, please contact us to discuss options.  
  • Participants must commit to 100% attendance for all sessions
  • Expect a fast-paced, hands-on learning environment with assignments, quizzes, and a final project
  • Diligence, time management, and follow-through are essential to succeed
